Sushi

     I'm David Reingold and I am a Lighting Designer and Deviser. I love any form of theatrical storytelling, and I have a real passion for new works. I enjoy collaborating with playwrights and choreographers in the creation of original theatre, and I've been lucky enough to be involved in several productions as a deviser/co-writer. 

     I received dual degrees in Lighting Design and Theatre Studies from Penn State University, where I designed over ten productions in addition to work as a performer, playwright, and dramaturg. Most recently you may have seen my work around Atlanta with companies including Actor's Express, Out Front Theatre, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, Horizon Theatre, Atlanta Contemporary Dance Company, and AKmē Instant Circus. I am always excited about new projects so don't hesitate to reach out! 

     As a dancer, I perform with the Rhythm Keepers Tap Company in Decatur and you can catch our performance "Let's Tap" every year in March. When I'm not in the theater I can often be found noodling on the clarinet, writing short stories and plays, or exploring underground passageways in the classic roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons.
